Spanish-American War

This political cartoon about the issue of the Spanish-American war. Cartoon this message on this issue is that America just protected the Cubans and that American she stayed on their land and protected them. I can see people having many different opinions on this one thing that we should not have protected the Cubans another being that we should done more. The techniques used in this cartoon to make it persuasive for symbolism and analogy. Symbolism is used with flag meaning America protected the Cubans and the lady represent Cuba. Analogy because the woman is the woman is being compared to the Cubans or rather after she’s basically she is the Cubans weak and helpless. Cartoon supports my opinion imperialism because its saying once again how much power we had and I believe we have too much.
